Primary duties and responsibilities: Understand what releases (code bases) are currently taking place and how they are using existing environments (ecosystems). Understand how code/configurations are being promoted across those environments. Work with developers daily on “released” changes and how those changes need to be incorporate into individual code bases. Work on resolving any code/configuration “conflicts”. Work with code repositories (GitHub) on checking in changes and resolving repository conflicts. Work with different technologies – UNIX code, PL/SQL code, OFSAA configuration, data model changes, Autosys scheduler changes. Track ecosystem patching and upgrade activities and coordinate that with code/configuration deployments. Track testing activities/cycles and coordinate that with code/configuration deployments. Maintain a comprehensive & detailed list of all environments and their corresponding code bases and configurations/releases. Verify that an ecosystem has a proper set of code/configuration; resolve if necessary.
