Work involves interacting with the PMO team, Applications Management team and customers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying Salesforce solutions using the Apex programming language, creating Salesforce dashboards, working with Salesforce visual controllers, etc. The services to be provided include, but are not limited to the following: A. Develop, design, test, and deploy Salesforce applications. B. Interface with other Client development groups to provide guidance on the proper development of Salesforce applications. C. Application development using Salesforce tools to map business process, implement system automation and integration. D. Full software development lifecycle from technical design to development, testing and deployment, including multiple concurrent Salesforce projects. E. Lead, mentor and teach developers best practices for customizing Salesforce. F. Interact directly with users, management, and other contractors to ensure Salesforce solutions are scalable. G. Take responsibility for end-to-end solution delivery and overall Salesforce architecture. H. Provide help to Salesforce administrator with support and system issue troubleshooting. I. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills: * Experience in IT and the application software development life cycle (SDLC) * Salesforce - Certified Advanced Administrator * Salesforce – Certified Advanced Developer * Practical deployment knowledge of Visual Force, Salesforce configuration, Apex classes, Apex Triggers, Apex Web services, and APIs * Advanced Salesforce user and administrator skills (including using permissions, roles, profile, queues, security setup, views, and page layouts). * Experience in Salesforce programming development (Visual Force and Apex) * Experience with the creation of Salesforce Applications using custom code. * System design experience with Salesforce applications * Experience in gathering, interpreting, and implementing Salesforce application requirements. * Previous experience opening and managing Salesforce.com bugs (troubleshooting, etc). * Demonstrated experience in working with geographically distributed teams, across time zones. * Designed and created custom reports and dashboards. * Experience evaluating and integrating Salesforce AppExchange solutions within overall implementation.
