Description:

Purpose

Water Resources is requesting ongoing maintenance and support services for the three websites for the next five (5) years. Requested services will be reserved for maintenance to the existing website functionality. Requests for website enhancements will be evaluated and may result in a separate bid request. All maintenance deliverables will be mutually prioritized, scheduled, tested, and approved by Water Resources and DTS prior to deployment.See Definitions below for further clarification.

General Responsibilities
All maintenance and support work will adhere to State and Industry software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards for State WordPress websites.

1. Environments
a. One environment (AT) separate from production
b. Updates tested in AT that Water Resources will test and approve before deployed to production
c. Copy of the website maintained in a code repository
d. Plugins are approved by DTS Security before being deployed
e. Updates are performed to keep WordPress and associated plugins at current stable releases.
2. Security
a. Health checks to assess and update website
b. Website access through Utah Master Directory authentication and site specific authorization
c. Vulnerability Assessments
3. User Interface
a. Website tested in multiple browsers
b. Mobility and responsiveness tested
c. Website must conform to established Utah State guidelines to include consideration of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards

Water Resources agrees to provide and identify the proper staff to work with in order to maintain their websites. Staff may include but is not limited to the following:


1. Project Sponsor
2. Website Owner
3. Data Owner
4. Testers

Water Resources will confirm testing acceptance of deliverables and approval to update the production website.
