This comprehensive public health initiative is needed to address critical health education needs for individuals with disabilities and to foster connections with healthier and more informed community options. The LPN will design curriculums and conduct a series of interactive trainings that cover vital health topics including but not limited to sex education, drug and alcohol awareness, understanding ones ability to include assistive technology options, nutrition, medication management, fitness, navigating community activities/programs, and stress reduction. The LPN will network with community resources to provide trainings on campus and in the community. The LPN will develop community partnerships for collaboration on training and services in the public health field. The LPN will work closely with the TRCS Student Behavioral Instructor and First Aid Center LPNs on curriculums, community resources/partnerships, and health events to ensure these trainings and services can be continued.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
