Lead team of testers with hands on approach, to write test scenarios & test cases using multiple tools with an agile or waterfall methodology, as required. Document test cases & results using Tools provided. Be able to extract & present reporting statistics on a daily basis based on BBVA testing methodology. Ensure testing activities allow application users to meet business requirements and goals. Identify existing & potential issues/risks. Collaborate with software/systems partners internally & externally. Plan & assign daily assignments for testing team. Work with UAT test team & Performance test team as required. Execute tests manually & identify any posssible automation opportunities. Work with Project Team to ensure quality throughout the product life cycle, including the identification & resolution of software defects or requirement deficie. Collaborate with SMES, BAs and Line of Business managers. Must be able to provide work/timeline estimates & meet projected goals in a timely manner without degradation of quality. Required Knowledge/Skils (Excellent organization skills, etc.) and IT Skills (ex. Programming skills with Java, Cobol, etc.) Requires a four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technolocy. Minimum 6 years experience in software quality assurance & analysis. Experience in RMS or DM or related software preferred. Extensive experience in JIRA & test creation/execution software needed. Understanding of QA methodologies - both Agile & Waterfall , and the software development/testing lifecycle is needed. Ability to define test strategies, test plans, comprehensive test cases to satisfy functionality & integration requirements. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & meet aggressive deadlines. Excellent organization, leadership, & communication skills required. Motivated & assertive in learning & taking ownership of the project. Good presentation skills. Self-starter with ability to work independently as well as with developers, testers, and managers from multiple lines of business. Experience with agile methodology.
