Must be PMP certified and have experience on an Service Oriented Architecture project. Project Manager - SOA Experience & PMP Certified 10 Month Contract; Chester, VA Responsible for providing technical project management of a highly complex project associated with development and delivery of new services. Develop the project initiation documentation, planning all aspects of the project including but not limited to schedule, budget, resourcing plan, risk plan, change control, issues management, communications plan, performance measures, project status reporting, and integration with other projects. Insure project compliance with existing Commonwealth project management legislation, standards, and policies. This position will initially manage a project to establish Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field desired, or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated ability: to analyze technology related issues and develop solutions and recommendations for appropriate action; to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to project documentation; and, to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and consensus on plans, policies, and initiatives at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels. Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture SOA). Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems. Proven ability to manage teams and projects. Candidate MUST possess a PMI/PMP certification.
