Specific duties include: Provide Architecture Guidance and Governance for assigned projects ensuring that they align with the WWT Architecture Strategy, Roadmap and Patterns, and properly leverage the appropriate development frameworks Serve as the Primary Architect on select projects with accountability for the project architecture direction and the completion of all required Architecture deliverables Collaborate with project teams and other architects to define the architectural approach and design of IT systems, including technology and pattern selection, design configuration and, where required, definition of solution alternatives to ensure system design meets business objectives along with proper delivery risk mitigation Collaborate with other WWT Architects on the definition of the WWT Architecture Patterns and Architectural Capabilities Contribute to strategic planning by working with business and IT leaders to develop IT solution strategies, roadmaps, investment plans, and cost estimates Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of Architecture experience 5+ years of application development, technical design, and project planning experience Demonstrated experience influencing solution development efforts on technical topics and business solutions Demonstrated practical experience applying a wide set of technical principles, practices, and procedures to design, build and implement complex application systems Knowledge of and experience with SOA solution design and development Practical experience with solution development with technologies such as .Net and Java Knowledge of and experience with architecture standards and methodologies (e.g. TOGAF) Understanding of and experience with the full software development life cycle including both traditional “waterfall” and Agile methodologies Demonstrated leadership, communication and relationship skills, including experience presenting, collaborating and building trusted relationships with executive management, senior management and technical peers to influence direction Preferred Qualifications Experience working with technical partners to plan for future state of systems and develop roadmaps. Experience writing code and/or ability to read code.
