ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Serve as an application developer for high performance business rules management system (BRMS) projects. Design and develop WebSphere/ILOG JRules applications. Implement, and document all aspects of development work, including detailed design, object models/graphs, rule flows, integration/interfaces, unit testing, code coverage and performance aspects of the application Design and develop efficient batch jobs for transferring large volumes of business data. Provide performance tuning for business applications based on Service Level Agreement (SLA). Deploy applications to Rule Execution Server and WebSphere Application Server. Provide general system administration for ILOG, WebSphere, Windows 2008 Server and IIS. TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Significant hands-on experience with full lifecycle project development. Significant hands-on experience with SOA, Web Services and EAI. Significant hands-on experience with ILOG JRules, Rule Team Server, Rule Flows and WebSphere Application Server v7. Significant hands-on experience with developing SOA services with IBM WID v7. Significant hands-on experience with .Net and Java application integration. Significant hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, EJB, JMS, JDBC, SQL, XML, JSP and MQ. Working knowledge of optimization solvers (e.g. CPLEX) and knowledge of embedding/calling these solvers in/through other programs/software applications Practical application debugging and troubleshooting skills. MINIMUM & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields preferred. 8 years of professional software development experience. 5 years of professional Java / J2EE, XML experience. 3 years of professional experience with WebSphere/ILOG ILOG JRules, Rule Team Server, Rule Flows etc. Atleast 1 year of experience using a commercial optimization solver, e.g. MPL/CPLEX.
