This hands-on role will coordinate and facilitate performance testing with various stakeholders across the organization (business, development, operations and project management); ensuring systems and applications within a defined ecosystem are performing properly and being monitored appropriately. As a Lead Engineer, this role is expected to make performance recommendations based upon data captured during testing; empowering this individual to determine the production readiness of a system and/or application. This position is relied upon to be the subject matter expert in both process and technology; serving as mentor to junior engineers (on & offshore), working with vendors to adopt new and/or enhance existing systems as well as engineering technological solutions which will further improve the delivery of service. Responsibilities: - Develop/Create test plans, test scripts, test scenarios. - Must be able to work with multiple teams to achieve the proper configuration around the definition of test criteria and environment specific execution - Coordinate change requests and schedule technical support for infrastructure and application monitoring (in the event system/application access belongs to an external team) - Execute performance / load / stress and other non-functional tests. - Monitor application and system logs to determine system/application/website behavior. - Address all technical issues, facilitate the resolution and necessary follow up with Development, IT, PMO and other cross-functional departments - Responsible for defining, implementing and updating monitoring configurations. Systems and Applications require appropriate monitoring both before and after going live in production - Generate performance graphs, execution metrics, session/summary reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis. - Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. - Prepare detail status reports as well as tracking the resolution of all defects and issues - Engaged in emerging technologies focused on automation & performance; to advance the delivery of service to meet the needs of the business at an efficient cost model - Demonstrate leadership qualities by: serving as a Subject Matter Expert in areas of automation & performance, providing teammates with technical & process oriented guidance and serving as a point of escalation to assist with incident resolution - Create and maintain partnerships with preferred vendors Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience Experience with the following: · Web Application: HTTP/HTML, eCommerce · Information Systems: Oracle (E-Business Suite), CRM (SFDC, CDH, SFA), Retail (JDA-POS, ScanGun), Citrix, Security (Account/Password Courier), Pricing (Vendavo), Workforce Management (Kronos, Hyperion), Identity Management (OID, OIF), Transportation (OTM), HRMS (PeopleSoft, LMS) · C+, C#, Java, Python, Shell, JSON Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the following · Web Technologies:HTML, XML, XHTML · Web Service Protocols:SOAP, REST · Operating Systems: Windows, UNIX, Linux, Solaris · Application Servers: WebSphere, Tomcat, IIS · Database Systems: MS-SQL, Oracle · Networking:TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, FTP/SFTP · Automation Tools:Soasta, LoadRunner, Performance Center, Jenkins, Selenium · Cloud: AWS, Azure · Defect Tracking   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
