Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. May require a bachelors degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field Experience: 10-16 yrs of IT and Business experience. Licenses/Certifications: PMP Certification Assignment related requirements: • 10-16 years of IT Project management experience • Waterfall project management experience with the ability to interface waterfall methodologies with other project tracks being worked via an Agile approach • Experienced practitioner of the Microsoft Project toolset • Ability to manage several separate but related IT Projects that fold into the overall project • Cross business unit and IT organization coordination experience • Proven ability to summarize and report the status and completeness status of the program and sub-projects to all levels of the organization. • Ideal candidate has excellent people and communication (both written and oral) skills • Experience managing IT Control Remediation efforts is a plus. Project Manager - • IT Risk and Compliance experience is essential • Exposure to NERC, CIP concepts would be helpful • Exposure to IT Audit would be preferred • The role is a mixed role that has to have capabilities of a program manager, project manager as well as a compliance specialist • Vendor management experience is needed • Ability to Control and delegate tasks to the team o Go out, interact with the sponsor, demand manager and explain the timelines, blockers and dependencies o Exposure to managing multiple projects running in parallel • Experience with reporting, status updates, Project closure documentation o SOW drafting and Contract elicitation experience would be helpful • Personality traits to work with the team: o Coach teams on Risk practices and Compliance findings mitigation o Willing to lead and mentor to an extent o Facilitate meetings o Collaborate with customers and app teams o Set directions and empower the team, but in a collaborative style Certification: • PMP would be a plus • Any Sox or Compliance certifications would be a big plus Possible OT may be asked for this assignment.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
