The clients enterprise is a 24x7x365 on-line business that relies on technology infrastructure. This is a role critical to maintaining and expanding their operations and provides broad exposure to diverse technology platforms, is highly collaborative with other Information Technology professionals and business department customers. Role is 50% .NET development and 50% SharePoint development. SharePoint will require upkeep as well as support of new development requests. Enviroment is 2010 with plans to move shortly to 2013. .NET will require support of current applications as well as new custom development. Responsibilities include: - Designs, codes, and unit tests technical solutions - Provides effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance - Understands the benefits of the various design methodologies and object oriented environments - Understands functional design requirements - Assists in physical and logical database design - Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions - Creates technical specifications - Ensures that all development practices are in compliance with employers best practices policies and procedures - Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies. - Shares acquired skills with team members through formal and informal channels. - Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively - Communicate effectively with other disciplines within the IT group Requirements: - Experience in .NET Architecture (ASP, with C# and VB a plus) - MS SQL Application development - SQL server 2008 and up - Experience with SharePoint 2010 - development and configuration - MVC, Team Foundation Server, jquerry - Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Ability to take individual initiative and responsibility for assignments - Must be detailed oriented, and possess strong analytical skills - Ability to work in a faced pace IT team environment   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
