This position requires development of new reporting functionality as well as maintenance of source code for the existing Reporting platform. Responsibility details include the ability to professionally write, debug and test SQL, T-SQL code, develop/maintain SSIS packages and develop/maintain SSRS Reports. Job responsibilities will be facilitated through participation in an enterprise software development lifecycle that will include interaction with project managers, analysts, other developers and test engineers. RESPONSIBILITIES: Consult with internal and external business partners to develop technical solutions to business problems and/or opportunities which are cost effective and value added. Build and maintain complex reports using SSRS. Build and maintain SSIS packages, which takes data from SharePoint list and other sources Provide or contribute to design approaches that lead to enterprise solutions. Prepare and review concise technical design documents. Tune and optimize the application based on testing analysis and performance requirements. Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Provide application support and maintenance to Business Intelligence/Reporting Platforms Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or related field Preferred; equivalent work experience in related field will be considered. At least 3 years of database development experience with SQL Server and reporting tools Strong knowledge of RDBMS systems. Specifically SQL Server 2005/2008. Strong knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, and SSRS required. Strong knowledge of SSIS packages is required. Demonstrated experience in generating moderately complex T-SQL statements (multi-table joins, parameterization, grouping, ordering, data type conversion) Demonstrated experience in creating moderately complex reports including sub reports, drill downs, multiple data sources Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts (EDW) and SSIS programming is required Strong knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio. Ability to manage real-time changes in production environments. Preferred SharePoint programming experience highly preferred Working experience in SSAS, Multi-dimensional cubes preferred Knowledge of .NET, ASP.NET, SharePoint, RUP, XSL, IIS and JavaScript is highly desired.
