Data type- and value-based validations, including complex dependencies between data field values • Example: o If the values in two other fields in other tables/sources are one case, then process and validate this data field one way and populate a data target, o If the values are another case, then process and validate this data field using a third party SSIS component and populate a different data target, o Handle errors and anomalies in both cases and output the error and the error data to a separate error target • Advanced experience with SQL Server database and table modifications (i.e., schemas, tables, fields) • Experience working with Lysine, Red Gate, and MatchIT software • Experience (2+ years) with .NET (VB or C#) programming; knowledge of CLR would be nice • Experience (2+ years) with SSRS and Visual Studio for report development, deployment and delivery • Understanding of basic mainframe concepts o Reading and understanding COBOL copybooks and data dictionaries, o Understanding of data type storage concepts (e.g., EBCDIC, COMP, COMP-3, etc.) and conversions to server-based concepts (e.g., ASCII, decimal, etc.) • Ability to communicate technically (verbally and in writing) with technical DBAs, legacy system developers, and system architects is crucial • Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with non-technical business subject matter experts, stakeholders and project managers for clarifications, to elucidate rules, and to provide explanations is critical • Prior experience with data cleansing projects highly preferred   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
