Description:
Job Responsibilities

· Developing SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data in relational data bases

· Database development using Amazon Redshift, DB2, SQL Server, and/or Oracle experience with Quality Assurance in a Big Data & Data Warehouse testing environment

·Design, develop, and test ETL processes to integrate data among business systems and data warehouses in multiple DBMS environments, including cloud-based systems

·Participate in data modeling design sessions

·Implement code changes based on system specifications

· Performing in-depth backend testing with SQL/PLSQL techniques

·Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software and automated suites of tests

·Work with your team to derive release testing requirements throughout the development cycle.

· Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes



Skills and Experience

· Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, and Pentaho PDI

·Strong SQL scripting skills, including procedural languages such as PL/SQL and T-SQL

·Experience with Control M

·Experience with back end database testing (iCEDQ a plus)

·Experience with data transfer with Oracle and Hadoop environments

·Experience in working with large-scale data warehousing and complex transformations

· Experience in working with dimensional models Incorporate and streamline test automation into build pipelines and quality gates

· Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle and are familiar with Agile Ceremonies

· Highly productive in an agile project delivery environment

· Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fluid organization where priorities shift to respond to changing business needs

· Have a strong technical background

·Adept at problem solving and trouble shooting

· Able to quickly assess and become knowledgeable about subject matter/become the subject matter expert

·Collaborative team player who can work independently across local and distributed teams

· Share your knowledge and enjoy mentoring other members of the team

·Demonstrate ownership and accountability through self-directed task management
