Market Risk is responsible for overseeing all risk from all trading businesses in Wells Fargo. This role will be focused on building and improving technical infrastructure around counterparty risk data taken by the firm. Job duties will include, but not be limited to, activities like the following: Using SQL, SSIS, and SSRS to create new processes as needed to enhance and/or improve reporting and oversight functions. Maintaining and improving SQL Server platform stored procedures, functions, and data structures. Monitoring and supporting automated SQL Agent jobs that run SSIS packages to capture, process, & deliver data for reporting. Building data verification tools and improved processes using SQL, SSIS, and SSRS to assist in correcting errors in overnight processing. Establishing and maintaining common data feeds to enable consistent reporting across the platform. We are looking for candidates with the following: High proficiency with SQL and related tools. High standards for quality development and attention to detail. Strong analytical & critical thinking skills. Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to work in a team environment and exchange knowledge with others. Industry experience in or providing support to areas such as securities trading, capital markets, risk management, or similar disciplines.
