Research guidance and regulations related to Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) and the Medicare Shared Savings Program (M-SSP). Functioning as a business analyst and Policy and Technical Subject Matter Expert. Analysts maintain a goal of identifying Policy and Technical issues before they are raised by the customer to influence program and system changes to positively reflect the programs commitment to proactive solutions and Continuous Process Improvement Contribute to the creation of business processes, operational procedures, business process models and other relevant documentation, and performing other tasks that demonstrate technical understanding of production operations. Analyzing, assessing and aiding in the resolution of Policy and Technical issues preventing normal business processes from completing as expected. Understand the function of supported systems, and how customers use them. Identify trends in technical issues encountered and communicate proactive resolutions accordingly to reduce ticket volumes. Understand the configuration of supported systems and other IT related issues that might prevent customers from using the system. Creating and updating SNOW Inquiry Management System cases, maintaining excellent notes and status information to demonstrate issues are being worked. Performing Trend Analysis using data from multiple sources. Monitoring and analyzing all production systems, jobs, and interfaces. Developing and maintaining Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and creating custom reports to fulfill customer requests in accordance with the Statement or Work (SOW). Other duties as assigned in the best interest of the Program Requirements: Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; or 7 years of directly applicable work experience will satisfy education and experience requirements. Must have 3+ years of in depth knowledge with Medicare Shared Savings Program (SSP) in regard to policies, applications support, and enrollment processes. Experience with general Share Savings Program (SSP), Accountable Care Organization (ACO) participation Implement process improvement through the analysis of policy, healthcare data, and their associated systems Analyze healthcare data using spreadsheets or other analytical tools Experience researching guidance and regulations related to the Medicare Shared Savings Program and/or Accountable Care Organizations. Knowledge of Process re-engineering initiatives or Process Improvement, project management principles, and analytical techniques and practices.
