ITD seeks the services of a skilled Data Warehouse Business Intelligence Specialist, experienced in writing and creating reports in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Server (SSRS) and Microsoft Dynamic CRM in an environment of similar size and transaction volume as ITD. It is expected that the BI Specialist will collaborate with ITD architects, development, production support teams and assigned business representatives to create the templates and reports necessary to support DMV modernization. Idaho Transportation Departments (ITD) DMV Division is modernizing its systems responsible for drivers licensing, vehicle titling and registration, motor carrier administration, automobile dealer administration, airplane registration, among other business functions. ITD has adopted an architectural approach that builds its modernized system on top of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM foundational platform. ITD has adopted a development and integration strategy that conforms to the following principles: 1. Deliver functionality through configuration of out of the box functionality 2. Maintain compatibility with CRM upgrades that will permit ITD to migrate to newer release versions of CRM without significant rework or development. 3. Ensure complete enablement of all ancillary CRM features, including but not limited to reporting on KPI metrics, workload balancing, and auditing, as specific ITD services are designed and configured in CRM. 4. Balance of flexibility and complexity. Reuse of workflows and reports when possible, while considering design limits and best practice recommendations. The work location is primarily in the Boise, Idaho area. The selected applicant is required to work onsite at ITD Headquarters office Monday through Friday. Contractors are requested to indicate the candidates primary residence location to aid ITD in determining the applicability of a fully burdened rate, and its subsequent evaluation of the Contractors rate proposal. This PSO will be used to fill one or more positions on this projects. Agency Expected Deliverables • Create SSRS templates to be utilized for standard correspondence from Idaho Transportation Department, Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV). • SSRS templates will pull specified data from Microsoft Dynamics CRM “GEM” system. • Creation of the templates will be based on existing correspondence. • Creation of Reports based on User Stories and specified acceptance criteria as assigned by Product Owner • The primary goal is to create correspondence templates in support of go live, therefore only minor edits to format and content will be performed to enhance readability and layout of the correspondence. • ITD will assign a data liaison that will assist in identifying the appropriate fields to use for the data necessary to complete the templates • The vendor will work primarily with an assigned business resource who will provide the templates, priority order to be completed, and accept completed templates.
