This position also actively contributes to Design and Architecture processes for Proposals and for Production Support and the overall application software lifecycle. The position also requires critical thinking, the ability to troubleshoot and analyze high-visibility, urgent and complex problems involving many groups (e.g. Developers, Server Administrators, Networking Administrators, etc.), and the ability to provide simple but effective solutions. The position requires fluency in SQL Server and HP Data Protector backup technology, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server T-SQL programming skills, SQL Profiler skills, SQL Server Clustering technology, and SQL Server database administration for hundreds of mission-critical databases hosted world-wide on numerous servers for the Documentum, ProjectWise, Microsoft Lync, Deltek ERP and a host of B&V Account-specific desktop engineering application platforms. Additionally, this position requires expertise in SQL Server installation, configuration and performance tuning.
