A minimum of 7 years demonstrated work experience in application development, enterprise integration and support is required together with experience working with object oriented programming languages and relational databases. Candidate must have in-depth experience in business analysis, application development, and design. The candidate must be able to multitask: handling multiple assignments with changing priorities while meeting project deadlines and work independently. Experience or familiarity with security applications, IIS, and Active Directory is a plus. The selected candidate should have at least two years of project management activities - requirements elicitation and project communication so the relevant stakeholders and members are aware of project status, scope changes, risks, and issues. The candidate should also have knowledge in Oracle EBS modules, primarily Project Accounting, Supply Chain, and General Ledger a must. He or She should have an excellent understanding of Fixed Assets accounting in the Utilities industry and have at least 3-4 years of proven experience working with PowerPlant Fixed Asset/Tax software and having an in-depth knowledge of PowerPlant Projects, Continuing Property Record, Cost Repository, Property Tax, PowerTax, Oracle Project Accounting and General Ledger modules. The position requires the candidate to achieve a high level understanding of the application portfolio, the computing infrastructures, and other IT organizations required to support the application portfolio. The following specific technical skills and experience are required for this position: Integrating enterprise applications using Microsoft BizTalk Server technologies Developing Single Page Web Applications using HTML 5, JavaScript/JQuery, CSS 3, Angular.js Telerik client-side and server-side components .NET Framework 4.0 (VB.NET and C#.NET) , ASP.NET MVC 4.0 SQL Server 2008-2012 Model View Controller/REST architectures, XML, Web Services and Web API Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio 2012 and Microsoft .NET framework, ASP.Net, Web Services, XML, Data Transformation Services SSRS, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Packages Microsoft SharePoint , MS Project and MS Office Data Modeling and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Required Skills/Experience: Any experience with the following technologies is a plus, but not specifically required: Oracle databases, Bootstrap, CSS Frameworks, Responsive Web Designs, Microsoft SharePoint, Classic ASP, and any automated testing tools. Knowledge in PowerBuilder development environment Assignment: The candidate will have the responsibility to assist in Project Management activities and also develop new applications, enhance existing systems, and support the application portfolio used primarily by Con Edisons Corporate Security within Enterprise Shared Services. The current portfolio includes the internally developed Intranet -based applications and vendor packages and the candidate will be responsible to lead/manage a small development team that includes rewrite of legacy applications running on obsolete technologies.
