Job Description : The Technical Quality Assurance Analyst will perform and develop processes and strategies related to testing activities for SSRS reports, Crystal reports, MicroStrategy reports, and new software development. This individual will be responsible for the development and execution of formal test plans. Must be able to work independently, as well as with various departments, to help troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify risks, and ensure defects are resolved. What you will be doing: Creating Test Strategies and Test Plans outlining test approach and risk mitigation Writing SSRS, Crystal and MicroStrategy test cases for new and existing functionality Writing SQL queries including Complex Joins Performing functional, regression, smoke and ad-hoc testing on all new and existing functionality Database testing, Performance testing, Data driven testing Reporting the discovered issues with a clear detailed description Working with development team to assist with troubleshooting, resolution and validation Analyzing test results to identify configuration issues, defects, data discrepancies Testing SSRS, Crystal and MicroStrategy reports Testing In-House custom software Working in a dynamic and fast paced environment Ensuring adherence to defined testing quality standards Required Skills: Advanced SQL Knowledge Advanced Knowledge of Data Warehousing Concepts Able to perform testing without formal design specifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline or comparable work experience is required. Independent worker with strong troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills (oral and written) to document/communicate testing results and identified issues. Ability to organize and manage multiple competing tasks and priorities with rapidly changing environment. 5+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform testing. 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining, and analyzing test scripts. 3+ years of hands-on experience creating project deliverables including test plans, test cases, and test reports.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
