Programmer will provide the following services: • To provide needed programming as CMS merges into the states NCWise system • To ensure seamless integration of the states tools supported by Race to the Top funding into the districts systems • To ensure alignment with the states new Instructional Improvement System (IIS) funded by Race to the Top • To align data systems for summative assessments with those of the IIS • To work with team members to modify the districts infrastructure to support CEDARS and other related aspects of the system • Load data into SQL databases as required by the department • Build stored procedures for automating tasks in the databases • Develop processes to create tables populated with data calculated according to specifications developed by the executive director for state and federal programs. • Automate data quality checks developed by other team members. • Develop process flows for assessment data collection systems • Coordinate the flow of data from collection systems to reporting tools • Coordinate with other SQL programmers to align work with CMS standard processes • Coordinate the departments SQL element promotion within the CMS data systems • Work products will be reviewed by the director of state and federal programs (or his designee) for quality and utility in the organization, remediation of defective work shall be at the contractors expense. • The person assigned must have the following minimal qualifications: 1. 10 years as an SQL and SSIS developer 2. 3 years as a database developer in addition to the above 3.
