This role requires a self-motivated, hardworking individual that enjoys a fast-paced, challenging, large enterprise environment. As part of the Integration Services team, you and your teammates will be responsible for the overall planning of various Middleware infrastructure solutions: including systems architecture, engineering, implementation, and technical support. The Technology Engineer designs, implements/installs, maintains and administers infrastructure systems including hardware, software and various configurations. Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures. This will include technologies spanning the Enterprise Service Bus Domains (B2B, B2C, B2E), BPM, EDI, Managed File Transfer, and Message Oriented Middleware. While exposed to a large set of technologies, the primary focus will be developing and solidifying patterns and re-usable frameworks that support next generation strategies. Requirements: The ideal candidates should possess: 4-6 or more years experience in support and/or engineering for the specific technical discipline: security, database, collaboration, UNIX platforms, web & middleware engineering, integration (EAI, batch and real time solutions) Level 87 3 or more years experience in support and/or engineering for the specific technical discipline: security, database, collaboration, UNIX platforms, web & middleware engineering, integration (EAI, batch and real time solutions) Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization. Ability to understand company business problems and identify probable technical solutions to those problems Desired Skills: Bachelors degree in IS or related equivalent work experience in an Information Systems position. Development experience and SDLC knowledge. Experience working with IT Retail Solutions. Experience in evaluating, designing and implementing open source and/or hardening commercial off the shelf solutions into successful operational models.
