In coordination with the QA Manager and project team (both on shore and off shore), this position is responsible for planning and execution of all QA automation activities specific to their area of focus. These activities include writing and executing test cases, managing product test coverage, product defect management, training and coordination, as well as, providing maintenance support activity relevant to products they release to production. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or equivalent experience 2+ years of overall technical experience (Quality assurance and/or software development) 2+ years of QA Testing experience in a corporate environment – automation test experience including detailed test script creation and execution Must have experience with HP Quality Center Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including proven experience communicating with stakeholders and communicating project status updates in meetings Development and automation experience is required. Experience with tools such as Selenium, Ruby cucumber, etc. Must have experience creating detailed test plans/test cases that cover all positive and negative scenarios. Must be proficient in creating and executing SQL queries. Must have experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, MS Project, Visio, etc). Experience leading QA efforts of complex applications with multiple integration points preferred. Create detailed test cases and complete test case review for other team members. Maintain a high level of situational awareness regarding all activities relevant to meeting project schedules, production system service levels, and providing regular status updates to management and relevant stakeholders. Identify, propose, and assist in implementation of appropriate software QA and SDLC best practices appropriate for the business and development model. Experience working with an on-shore / off-shore model preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all staff levels in the company and with clients.
