This person will be responsible for not only providing hands on automated testing and technical expertise but will also have lead responsibilities as well so it is a very senior level position – looking for someone who can guide and mentor the team as well as provide technical guidance Requirements 5+ years of software automation testing work experience 4+ years using Selenium - should be very proficient in selenium. Expert knowledge of QA processes – automated and manual testing standards – will be doing 100% automated testing but should understand manual testing as well. Capability to resolve issues and lead the team – this is a very senior position so would like someone to have lead capabilities that could lead the team in both technical aspects. Java development experience Nice to Have: · Previous insurance domain experience · Experience with guidewire · Prior lead experience – not required but prior experience would be a big plus. o Capability to train the team members and mentor · ETL experience is a plus but not required · Web Services automation experience is a plus but not a requirement. Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Analyst IV (Senior Test Automation Engineer) is part of the Information Systems team that support automation testing and owns automation activities like develop/maintain automation framework, automated test scripts, automation scope analysis, automation suites execution/reporting. Position Responsibilities: Design and develop complex automation scenarios using Selenium Design and develop or understand the architecture of existing automation framework Test data preparation and data handling using Databases Automated test suite execution, triaging failures and reporting Maintenance of automation assets like scripts, test data, java libraries, grid machines etc. Automate webservices using Java or Ready API to support API automation testing Continuous Integration of selenium automation using Jenkins Utilize programming and technical skills in Java to develop automation scripts Use of version control management tool to maintain automation repository/assets Lead efforts like automation scoping, estimation, scheduling and prioritization Work closely with various Dev team members to understand testing objectives and ensure that problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner Perform manual testing as necessary to augment automation Participate in QA process improvement initiatives and cross-company activities Create and implement a set of standardized automation practices within the enterprise Cross train and mentor team members and peers as needed Position Qualifications: College degree in information systems or a related field or the equivalent in related work experience 6+ years of software automation testing work experience using Selenium Experience in Guidewire suite or P&C Insurance is preferred Requires strong automation testing experience using Selenium Requires experience in developing automation framework Experience in Java development preferred Experience and ability to lead Automation Team Experience in Webservices automation using Ready API is a plus Experience in Cucumber is a plus Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
