Job Description Administrator: IT Service Management, ServiceNow, System Administrator, ITIL V3 Certified ITSM LDAP SSO JAVA SCR

Responsible for configuring and administering ServiceNow ITSM tool at a global level. This role will work with the IT Service Management leadership to develop technical solutions that satisfy the business needs of the Technology organization and other departments seeking to use ServiceNow internally. Extensive experience supporting day to day ServiceNow administration for Incident, Request, Problem and Change modules. Independently articulate product enhancements and engineer them into ServiceNow After hours support will be required.

Responsibilities:

Administer ServiceNow tool
Configure Application UI
Configure Workflow
Customize ServiceNow applications, able to build reports and KPIs with the ServiceNow standard reporting tool.
Facilitate rollout of new applications and modules
Handle general updates and configuration changes/requests
Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
Prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Assist with the migration from BMC SDE to the new ServiceNow
application modules with little or no disruption to IT operations
Drive compliance with IT Service Management standards
Protect the baseline reference documentation and files
Understand the requirements of ITSM Program technological scope, its

complexity, and required functionality

Responsible for developing and maintaining policies and standards in accordance with company guidelines, business requirements, and associated attributes
Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools
Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible
Ensure tool configuration consistency across dev
Ability to write concisely, with excellent grammar, spelling and choose effective wording.
Assist Help Desk Supervisor with report creation.
Willingness to take ownership of problem/request and see it to resolution.
Enhance customer relationships with other Help Desk and Business Units.
Follow-up with users and technical staff to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) in software engineering or related field
- 5 - 8 years in IT Service Management
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Certification
ITIL v2 or v3 Foundation Certification preferred
- 3-5 years experience working with ServiceNow
- Previous experience in deploying ITSM tool
- Knowledge in ITIL governance and control processes and procedures
- Knowledge and direct experience with build automation development and standards
- Prior direct involvement with development, quality assurance, and operational support activities.
- Experience conducting requirements analysis activities
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and Single Sign-On (SSO) Integration
- Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Windows)
- Ability to work with global diverse teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to mentor others about proper ServiceNow administration processes and value
- Work collaboratively and effectively within cross-functional teams
