This work includes all aspects of planning, installation, and support of the aforementioned systems, including supporting desktop PCs, servers, network devices, storage solutions, and surveillance-specific equipment. Install, configure, maintain, and monitor multiple state-wide networks. Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates. Work is performed at the agencys nearly 200 locations, state-wide, including the agencys many secure sites, often independently. Improvisational skills, creativity, adaptability, and strong troubleshooting skills required. Day travel also required, and long days are common. Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting. Provides tactical and strategic input on overall systems planning and related projects. Capabilities with 8 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently, performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Contractor will have an initial meeting at our central office to get their ID, fingerprints, and pick up their PC once they start, then will be working remotely during "safer at home" order. Once order is lifted, contractor will be expected to work on-site full time.
