Overall, deliverables will vary depending on the findings of the reviews and options available within the current environment or that align to best practices that will be defined during the course of the discovery. During the course of the engagement 6 key deliverables will be provided: Review, recommend changes and improve upon the current Splunk Enterprise deployment to include indexer and search head architecture. Partner with IT stakeholders to develop requirements and create execution plan to create a centralized log analytics platform including agent problems and issues, set up forwarders, logging inputs and apps on a variety of system sources (Linux, Windows, WebLogic, Tomcat, Oracle, SQL Server) Develop dashboards and reports for monitoring of real-time log data Define and create alerts and monitoring for key security and application events Train users on utilizing the central log analytics platform and performing routine activities, to include creating dashboards and alerts Provide advice and consulting to identity opportunities for additional log analytics use cases within the enterprise environment including add-on applications or modules for features like End User Behavior Analytics. The artifacts delivered will enable the estimation for the work to proceed with the project for 2018 including tools (if necessary.) Qualifications: Should have Splunk Architect, Splunk Certified Admin, Splunk Certified Power User and/or Splunk Certified Consultant with a strong knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and security technology logging and comprehensive hands-on experience with Splunk Indexer and Search Head clustering, forwarder configuration and Splunk App installation. Experience configuring the Splunk forwarder for both log ingestion and filtering log data to optimize the ingestion rate. Direct experience with the Splunk Enterprise Security application.
