Also provides technical leadership to members of the Systems Development Team for all aspects of the software development lifecycle for a variety of software systems. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES * Accountable for defining and managing software development processes that deliver solutions for domestic and international operations. * Participates in defining the technical strategy through a constant assessment of the organizations needs and available technical options. * Works with the internal customers and external vendors to plan and coordinate Systems Development projects and those that require Systems Development assistance * Ensures that team members have sufficient project requirements, product and technical specifications, prioritization, and training to deliver effective solutions * Reviews and establishes realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target and meet deadlines * Responsible for working with divisions as a technical lead to solicit business requirements and develop design specifications that effectively fulfill business needs * Demonstrates leadership abilities both within IT and to our organizational customers * Manages the Software Development Process and makes adjustments to meet the needs of our customers * Plans for and evolves the software and technical architecture to match the needs of the organization * Coordinates global implementations * Leads, guides and directs team members to optimize performance. * * Provides coaching, mentoring, discipline, hiring and terminations needed. * Manages the design and enhancement of a global web based architecture for all applications and services * Evaluates, selects, and implements new tools and techniques to enhance our organizations business operations * Use business knowledge to drive systems design and the best solutions to business requirements * Builds and tests modules, applications and reports that meet design specifications and user expectations, and adhere to appropriate standards * Assists and mentors other programming staff with the development of applications as needed * Ensures a high quality of application, operations and program documentation * Partners with users and technical staff resolving problems in timely manner with root cause analysis QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE * 10 years of experience in development, analysis and design * 8-10 years of experience : C# .Net ; SQL Server ; HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Web Services and XML * Experience working with Third Party APIs * Strong understanding of Design Patterns and Object Oriented Programming * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high traffic environment * 8-10 years specific experience with client/server systems and databases, SQL Server applications and delivering these applications over the Internet to low bandwidth clients * Deep knowledge working within a Windows Server environment * 5 years architecting web services to support business solutions * Experience with and knowledge of SalesForce development concepts is a PLUS * Experience with and knowledge of VMware virtual environments * Experienced with Crystal Reports REQUIRED * Experienced in full life-cycle development * Strong analytical and problem solving skills, adaptability and ability to manage multiple requests/projects * Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and ability to effectively function in a team environment EDUCATION Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Informatio   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
