This project has been underway for approximately one year, with two years anticipated until go-live of the final phase of the system. Responsibilities include: - Manage multiple contractors in implementation of a highly configured spatially integrated software system (Trimble Landfolio for Natural Resources) - Manage integration of the Landfolio software with existing IDL ECM, financial, and land management software systems - Coordinate requirements gathering, design, testing, and implementation activities - Coordinate requirements, design, and testing workshops - Identify and mitigate project risks and issues - Develop monthly project status reports - Communicate project status to project team and stakeholders - Lead weekly project team meetings and periodic stakeholder update meetings Although the Estimated Completion Date on this PSO ends with the termination date of the state IT Services Contracts on June 30, 2018, the intended term of engagement for this position is until December 31, 2019 as IDL extends this PSO. This non-binding intention is not an obligation on the part of the State and depends on contract administration actions optionally to be taken by the State Division of Purchasing outside the control of the issuing agency. A limited amount of in-state travel (including overnight) will be required to attend internal IDL meetings and workshops. LIMS L&W is an enterprise land management software solution based primarily on Trimbles Landfolio for Natural Resources software product. Principal work location is IDLs Boise Staff Office, located at 300 North 6th Street, Suite 103, Boise, Idaho. Agency Expected Deliverables The LIMS L&W project manager will coordinate with the CIO and project stakeholders to: - Coordinate the implementation activities of the contractors involved on the project - Monitor contractor performance in meeting contract deliverables and budget - Monitor and adjust project schedule to ensure delivery by project milestones - Align project resources to meet project schedule - Identify and mitigate project issues and risks - Oversee work of software implementation vendor and internal IDL project team - Coordinate data migration and go-live activities Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.) Experience: Four years plus of project management experience Education: Four (4) year college degree or equivalent technical study Description of skills and knowledge required include: - Experience planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring complex enterprise system implementation projects - Experience successfully interacting with key stakeholders to encourage participation in and support of complex initiatives - Basic working knowledge of natural resource management terminology and concepts preferred - Good working knowledge of enterprise GIS (preferably ESRI-based)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
