By leveraging the RMII end-to-end documentation database and other available data sources, they will provide business insights and to identify opportunities for process improvement, risk reduction and other potential benefits to the firm. This person will play a key role in developing the teams BI capability and in helping other team members grow and strengthen their expertise in relevant tools and techniques through partnership and collaboration across multiple work efforts. Key Responsibilities Include: Partnering with stakeholders across the enterprise to define and document information and analytical requirements Providing reports and business intelligence to stakeholders using appropriate delivery methods Identifying and recommending potential data sources and compile/mine data from sources in support of delivery efforts Developing successful partnerships and effectively collaborating internally with other RMII functional areas, as well as external stakeholders and enterprise technology partners Preparing and presenting work product to stakeholders/management in a concise, convincing, and effective manner Developing and providing subject-matter expertise in departmentally-owned data sources Performing highly complex activities related to business analysis and/or modeling Developing analytical strategies and performing analytical support and/or modeling regarding a wide array of business initiatives Application of analytical, statistical modeling, stochastic and/or forecasting methods. Designing and leading some of the most complex projects/ analyses, generally spanning multiple products/business lines/functional areas/data sources involving extremely complex analytical application of industry-leading experimental techniques or exploratory data analytics Applying knowledge of business, customers, and/or products/services/portfolios to synthesize data to form a story and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective Being involved directly in the technical build-out and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc. that enable analysis, modeling, and/or advanced data visualization Leading project/virtual teams & mentors less experienced staff. May manage a small team. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling Desired Qualifications: Strong experience with Tableau, Python, SQL, Excel Bachelors degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, accounting, finance, economics, engineering, physics or computer sciences. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
