The IT Network Engineer participates in ongoing infrastructure support, analysis of network use/design, and assists in future planning of the infrastructure. Bachelor degree in an applicable information technology discipline, Associate Degree in information technology and 5+ years experience in given discipline or technology. Specifics: UNIX experience and/or Compliance/Risk Management experience Industrial Control System experience preferred Maintain and ensure availability of production and test systems Implement and upgrade security measures and controls Participate in vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments Participate in vulnerability and networking scanning assessments Perform monthly change testing Participate monthly change implementation Participate in internal security and compliance audits Work with team to implement and maintain malicious code prevention systems Understand internal security awareness and security procedures and educate fellow employees in their practice Use, configure and support security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus software, patch management systems, etc. Implement network security policies, application security, access control and corporate data safeguards Participate in the development and update of recovery plans Provide technical security advice Documentation and improvements of process and procedures Support proof-of-concept and testing for future projects Continuous Improvement Experience with evaluation, testing, and installation of Microsoft or Unix Security and Operational Patches Required 48 Months Experience with patch installation and evaluation tools (e.g. Shavlik) Required 48 Months Experience maintaining malicious code prevention systems (e.g. Symantec Anti-Virus) Required 48 Months Implementing/supporting security measures & controls (vulnerability mgmt, Log Monitoring, Configuration Management, network scans, malicious code, etc Required 24 Months Industrial Control System experience Desired 12 Months Experience participating in security and compliance audits Desired 24 Months Experience in developing and updating of system recovery plans Desired 24 Month Experience with Continuous Improvement programs (e.g. Six SIGMA) Desired 24 Months UNIX experience and/or Compliance/Risk Management experience Highly desired 24 Months   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
