At times, this resource will be relied upon to provide insight into complex architecture decisions based on previous experience. A bredth of knowledge across a multitude of technologies is required (see skills required section below). An ability to collaborate and communicate effectively is critical to ensure prompt resolution. Skills Required: Deep knowledge of /experience with network protocols such as: TCP/IP, RPC, HTTP, FTP, etc Thorough understanding of server/client and other interactive processes in order to properly analyze application transactions through various tiers (application, web, database, etc) Working knowledge of network packet analysis tools such as Opnets ACE Analyst, Wireshark, and associated capture appliances (i.e. NetScout Infinistream, Network Instruments Gigastor, or similar) Awareness of major compliance and regulatory controls to assess different types of traffic, primarily PCI and GLBA Resolve hardware, operational, infrastructure and application incidents Provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolve routine problems to ensure infrastructure and application stability Collaborate with team to promote re-use and develop consistent technical build, implementation and support processes Work with IT mgmt. and architects to ensure systems are in line with overall IT policies and standards   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
