The duties of this position can be broad and may include such tasks as installing new workstations and other devices, adding and removing individuals from the list of authorized users, archiving files, overseeing password protection and other security measures, monitoring usage of shared resources, and handling malfunctioning equipment. Selects, develops, integrates and implements network management applications for Internet components. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for working on projects, systems, and/or issues of medium to high complexity, and will be expected to provide daily operations support, maintenance and administration for Windows Servers. This position requires ownership of complex issues in order to support Department business. 5 Education Bachelors Degree or technical institute degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Other related field. Experience should include installation, configuration and troubles shooting of iWay Reporting Server, WebFOCUS Reporting Server, WebFOCUS Client, ReportCaster, Web Services and WebFOCUS ESRI.ArcGIS GEO service 5. AllFusionGen 8.x CommBridge/ComProxy CICS Transaction Enabler software on Host Integration Server 2013 installation, configuration and troubleshooting 6. 15 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in systems operations, support, maintenance and administration 7. Network Performance Tuning, LAN Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation, Problem Solving, Strategic Planning, Multi-tasking, Quality Focus, Coordination, Technical Understanding, Quick Study, Technical Zeal 8. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Florida Department of Transportation legacy systems, applications and associated infrastructure, which would include dependencies between IBM Z Series Mainframe server, Windows Middleware/Gateway Servers, Oracle client software and configuration, Microsoft SQL Server client installation, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio experience 9. AASHTOWare WebTrns*port and Trns*port Installation, installation, configuration and troubleshooting. Product lines including WebTrns*port, PreConstruction Project, SiteManager, BAMS/DSS 10. SAS 9.3/9.4 installation, configuration and troubleshooting on Windows servers supporting BAMS/DSS. Apache Tomcat Web Server installation and configuration experience 11. Oracle Primavera (version 16.1 or higher), Oracle WebLogic (10.1 or higher) installation, configuration and troubleshooting 12. RocketSoft BlueZone 3270 Emulator installation, configuration and troubleshooting 13. Ability to interact with Database Administrators supporting Oracle 11g (or higher) and MS SQL (2012 or higher) 14. Experience to interact effectively with FDOT Customers, including troubleshooting supported, distributed applications, web applications and client/server desktop applications 15.
