Troubleshoot firewall issues ( setting up captures, syslog, etc ) Perform design, architecture and implement Data Center DMZ Co-ordinate and Plan and execute Change Management procedures Help in troubleshooting customers network security issues Research industry best practices and make recommendations Create configuration and installation documents Qualifications Basic Requirements: Performed Cisco Firewall configurations, maintenance and troubleshooting Must have good experience with Data Center DMZ design and implementation Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals Need good oral and written communications skills and be a team player Excellent customer service skills Requires a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline and 8 years of related experience 4 years of additional related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree Assist on other projects and operational issues as needed Be available for on-call duties on an rotation basis Drive around to various buildings in local area, be able to safely lift, move, rack and install equipment up to 60 lbs, if needed Additional Requirements, a plus: Network protocol captures and analysis, like wireshark, netflow, etc Experience with VPN, Websense, Linux Experience with Authentication protocols like RSA, Radius, Tacacs+ Setup IDS/IPS systems, ongoing configuration changes, monitoring and maintenance need to know basic VPN Firewall need to understand Encryption algorithm for firewalls. need to know what a Class C subset is. need to know IP subletting. need to know and be able to troubleshoot VPN hashing algorithms as well as asymmetrical and symmetrical algorithms. All work is day shift : arrival between 7 and 9 am , and leave accordingly. 40 hrs /week. Some flex is required since some of the maintenance and cutover activities occur evening/weekend.
