Description: We are looking for an ERP Infrastructure System Engineer for a 2 to 3 month engagement starting May 30th, 2017 in our Towson, Maryland location. This engagement will include both project and production support activities and duties. As with all of our project and production support initiatives, we always look for other opportunities to keep our accomplished contractor staff engaged with us but we are dependent on system funding. Although we cannot guarantee work beyond 2 months, we will make every effort to guard our investment and yours. Enterprise - Extensive background working in a large Windows enterprise environment - Understanding of basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, firewalls and routing in a Windows environment - Knowledge working with Active Directory - Strong experience working in a VMWare environment - Experience creating and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans - Excellent customer service skills to provide end-user support, in person and via phone or app share, for Windows 7, 8 and 10 and Internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, FireFox, and Chrome - Network and information security skills Server Support - Strong technical skills providing support for Windows server 2008 and 2012 o Monitoring and correcting performance issues o Operation System Patching o Managing user access including creating shares and applying appropriate permissions o Working with virtual servers such as VMWare o Installing, configuring and maintaining IIS o Managing server backups o Ability to configure and troubleshoot networking connectivity such as TCP/IP settings, LDAP and firewalls - Applicable experience providing support for Microsoft SQL Servers (2008, 2012, and higher) o Installing and configuring Microsoft SQL server o Configuring and maintaining user permissions o Managing server and database backups o Restoring databases o Troubleshooting connectivity issues o Designing and implementing databases o Configuring databases for optimum performance o SQL scripting - Experience using monitoring tools - Experience working with vendor support services Application Support - Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Web application servers such WebSphere 8.5 and JBOSS - Experience working deploying vendor Java and COBOL software patches - Experience working with scripting languages such as PowerShell and VBScripts - Experience with batch command files - Experience using application scheduling software such as ASG Zena Ideally, the candidate would have the following additional skills: - Knowledge in supporting ERP systems such as CGI Advantage HR and Finance - Expertise in supporting time and attendance software such as Kronos - Experience supporting document management software such as MetaViewer Enterprise and DocuWare - Skills using and supporting version control software such as Microsoft Source Safe and Team Foundation Server   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
