Strong Unix and Linux administration skills (HP-UX, as well as Red Hat, SUSE, SCO, and Oracle Enterprise Linux) 2. SAN administration - EMC Clariion and VNX, RecoverPoint, Avamar, DataDomain (Dell Equallogics a plus) 3. Solid understanding of TCP/IP and network functionality 4. BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent work experience. 5. Minimum of ten (10) years of information technology experience. 6. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. 7. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate with executive level management. 8. Very good business sense, time management skills and administrative ability. 9. Ability to do data and system analysis, performance tuning, and capacity planning. 10. Knowledge and experience with computer hardware, multiple operating systems as well as backup and recovery. 11. Ability to recognize and identify potential areas where information technology can provide value and eliminate waste. 12.
