Overview of position: Business requirements analysis to understand requirement and to find gap Create test case and test scenarios Identify test data requirement for while creating test scenarios Create Test plan according to release schedule and support iterative development Partnering closely with technical teams to understand the code changes and impacted areas for maximum test coverage and reduce redundancy Review Test Plan and Test scenarios with technical team and BA Partner with offshore testing team to complete assigned tasks Log defects with clear description of the issue and precise steps to recreate the issue Evaluating ways to improve testing process for tight release schedule and proper test coverage Reach out to the QA lead/manager immediately with issues or concerns Participate in FSD review sessions to resolve any ambiguities Triage production defects for root cause analysis and recreate in UAT Ability to adjust test priorities based on requirement or schedule update Provide support to production users for application functionality Required skills: Extensive experience as either a Manual Testing Lead or resource with Automation and Manual experience Data validation experience – running SQL queries Experience with relational database systems and database mapping TFS and Test manager experience required Ability to write test scenarios and test cases Create Test Plan Quick learner and ability to understand testing requirements Ability to juggle multiple tasks Takes ownership of a task Values accountability and responsibility Self-starter that is willing to seek guidance when not sure Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of business partners Strong analytical skills Ability to articulate and document defects and queries in a clear and concise manner that are proficient.
