The S3 -reports need to be converted from COGNOS 7 to COGNOS 10.2.2. Comments Description Project Single Source Solution (S3) Metrics Each month the S3 Database generates statistical information on timeliness and accuracy of military pay transactions in the form of Excel reports and Cognos Power Cubes. These are accessed in the form of reports or output downloaded as charts and diagrams for end users (i.e., Military Pay Functional Area organizations or field users). The Cognos Power Cubes provide current and historical data structured for extensive analysis of key timeliness and accuracy metrics by business area such as branch of service, component code, site type, Activity Disbursing Symbol Number (ADSN), format identifier (FID), action indicator, process code, reporting period and aging with the ability to drill-through to transaction level details, when required. This information is generated immediately following the Defense Joint Military Pay System (DJMS) month-end restructure (MER) and Marine Corps Total Force System (MCTFS) end of month processing. Contractor support shall be focused on the following tasks; COGNOS Business Intelligence Support, architect, develop and demonstrate Business Intelligence Solutions, installation and configuration of Cognos Products - Client and Servers, technical mentoring of I&T employees, ongoing development, support and maintenance support for S3 Metrics, I&T Labor Reports, Cognos Reportnet for Root Cause database, development of Call Center Metrics reporting solution, provide troubleshooting support for Cognos driven applications in DFAS and maintain the Cognos Series 7.x and 10.2 BI installations in the development lab.
