Proficient in working with RDBMS like Oracle, DB2 etc. Familiarity with columnar databases like Vertica is nice to have. Experienced in Python, R for complex data analysis and data cleansing. Experienced in SQL and query construction to be able to join data from multiple sources to satisfy business requirements. Experienced in performance tuning of SQL queries to improve the performance of existing reports. Comfortable with basic statistical primitives to analyze the data patterns. Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
