Their function is to improve process and efficiencies within their given domain. Daily Tasks/Responsibilities Developing dashboards within Tableau Estimating and translating requirements Governance and process efficiencies Finding the gaps in team processes and determining how to improve them Collaboration with different levels within organization Metrics, reporting, and dashboarding Kick off meetings and status updates Helping to assist in maturing process areas within engineering origination Data analysis Dotted lined relation to the domain manager – will take day to day from them. 50% project focused and 50% report/development Technologies/Tools Microsoft suite (advanced Excel skills) Tableau Any other BI tools also nice to have Jira Visio Must Haves Infrastructure knowledge – how systems work and fit together Ability to write system requirements BRD and Use Case Analysis Ability to gather estimates from domain team Tableau Experience – Development Analyzing capacity for all of IT Focusing on KPIs Need to monitor the health within infrastructure Process/Continuous Improvement Experience How do we know if infrastructure is healthy? How do we report that? Methodologies Historically waterfall, but transitioning to Agile Kanban and other intake methodologies would be nice knowledge as well Reporting and Analytics Background (skill gap on the team currently) Who Will Be Successful in this Role?
