Description : ------------------------------------------------------ Introduction The Application Development Section (ADS) at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is in need of a CRM Architect III to manage multiple enterprise level Salesforce activities. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain best practices, strategies, roadmaps, governance and provide consulting for the DHS Salesforce environment. Additionally, the selected candidate may be called upon to mentor others on various Salesforce related activities. Responsibilities 1. Develop and maintain Org strategy guidelines tailored for the DHS Salesforce environment. a. Consult with business units on whether the Salesforce platform is a good fit for proposed applications b. Analyze the high level requirements of new Salesforce applications and apply the Org strategy criteria to recommend placement of applications on new or existing Salesforce Orgs c. Update the Org strategy as the DHS Salesforce environment changes over time 2. Help to define and apply the Salesforce security standards to the DHS Salesforce environment a. Data access policies (field level security, profiles, permissions, sharing settings, etc.) b. Data encryption policies c. System/event monitoring policies d. Authentication policies 3. Define and maintain Salesforce application development and release management policies and procedures. a. Establish a Salesforce System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework b. Standardize release management processes and procedures and related devops tools c. Research development processes, tools, and frameworks for the Salesforce platform as needed 4. Assist with defining and maintaining the Salesforce data backup strategy a. Provide input to the Salesforce disaster recovery strategies b. Provide input on the Data Cleansing & Data Migration strategy c. Provide input on the Master Data Management (MDM) strategy - Customer 360 5. Contribute to the Governance Maturity & Center of Excellence (CoE) Model Roadmap a. Provide input on the purpose and scope of the Change Control Board (CCB) b. Provide input on a CCB charter c. Provide input on a Plan for transitioning to centralized Salesforce CoE model d. Provide input on decision-making processes 6. Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT organizational strategy. 7. Act as an internal advocate, mentor and change agent. 8.
