The role of the Business Analyst is to analyze data from key business customers on multiple initiatives, resolve business concerns and work closely with the Project Manager to drive strategic business decisions. **5+ **years as a Business Analyst working with large data sets and process oriented analysis Recent experience providing **data analysis **in a **data warehousing **environment Strong experience with data warehouse software: Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop or Vertica Can query in SQL or HQL Plus: Hands on development work D2D: Business Analyst must be an expert in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation. This team specifically works with large amounts of data so candidate brought onboard will need to be able to get their hands dirty with the data! Candidate will drive design discussions with the development team and oversee the quality control throughout the project life cycle. He/She will have the expertise to explain analytical outcomes and technical roadblocks in business terms, as well as exercise cross-functional influence, and translate between business owners and functional/technical team. Candidate will represent the teams project managers in all technical meetings and relay technical requirements back to business stake holders.
