Handles and leads the most complex or critical data/ database management initiatives that typically involve multiple disciplines and multiple business groups, including responsibility for database architecture, design, integration, and/or data modeling. As the recognized technical expert, consults extensively with multiple client groups to provide strategic solutions, influencing long-range internal and enterprise-level data/ database architecture and management strategies. Serves as a consultant on technological advancements. Provides oversight, mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff. May represent the organization as an external spokesperson. Serves as the highest-level technical consultant to internal clients and technical management to ensure conformity with Enterprise Architecture, having expertise across a broad portion of the organizational units architecture, or in-depth expertise within a more specific portion of the architecture. 10+ years design and planning experience in systems, applications or IT Architecture. 10+ years database design and administration experience. Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to: • Conduct proof of concepts with Subject Matter Experts • Strong understanding of data security metadata and metadata tools (Abinitio and Collibra) • Perform meta-data and data level analysis before data is on boarded • Create data quality documentation and requirements • Data profiling/analysis at meta-data and data levels • Create data architecture documentation and roadmaps • Building curated views from the conformed data for multiple consumers • Onboarding data into a data lake • Conforming the data • Building curated views from the conformed data for multiple consumers • Create requirements for onboarding data from multiple source systems • Contribute to the Information Security Master/ Reference Data Strategy • Understand solution architecture best practices and BCBS 239 principles • Synthesize, document and present alternative solutions for complex data problems Qualifications: • 5+ years of risk and regulatory compliance data experience • 5+ years of Teradata experience • 5+ years of data collection and reporting experience • Data Analysis Experience • Data Migration Tools • Data Modeling • Data Integration • Database Design • Metadata management • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization • Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams Sample skills Databases Systems Oracle, MS SQL Server Data Modeling Tools Erwin, OracleDesigner Languages C, SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Pro *C, UNIX Shell Scripting IDE & GUIs Cognos, Oracle Developer (Oracle Forms and Reports) DBA Technologies Exadata, Hadoop, Teradata Notes : Will not accept OPT candidates   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
