This position involves developing solutions, creating an overall plan, and building necessary reports. The primary focus areas include improving data management practices, tracking Measurable Skills Gains (MSG), and Credential Attainment. Additionally, the Business Analyst will work on integrating the Pre-ETS (Pre-Employment Transition Services) system with the existing VR system. Responsibilities: 1.Data Solutions Development: o Collaborate closely with the OVR team to assess the current state of data management and reporting in CWDS. o Develop a comprehensive plan to address identified issues and enhance data management practices. o Propose solutions to streamline processes and improve accuracy. 2.Reporting and Analysis: o Create standard and ad hoc reports based on OVRs reporting needs. o Design report templates and generate reports as required. o Focus on accurate tracking of MSG and Credential Attainment. o Investigate and address flaws in the current CWDS tracker system. 3.Integration of Pre-ETS System: o Analyze the separation between the Pre-ETS system and the existing VR system. o Propose strategies to integrate the two systems effectively. o Streamline the financial system and address issues arising from the switch to Pre-ETS 2.0. Deliverables: 1.A comprehensive plan for improving OVRs data management in CWDS. 2.Standard and ad hoc reports as needed by OVR. 3.A revised system for tracking Measurable Skills Gains and Credential Attainment. 4.A plan for integrating the Pre-ETS and Vocational Rehabilitation systems. The incumbent has advanced analytical lead responsibility for the following activities within the assigned project. The incumbent must have advanced business analytical skills, leadership abilities, and be able to perform the following activities: • Perform Business Process Reengineering (BPR) including assessment of existing business processes (As-Is Assessment), determination of future state (To-Be Assessment and Requirements), and Gap Analysis • Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) or Detail Design Sessions (DDS) facilitation • Document business process requirements and process diagram flows, review business policy and procedure documentation, create/update documentation as needed and review with business partner and IT administrator resource • Engage as Liaison between business partner agency and information technology (IT) staff including Project Manager and internal/vendor development staff. Possess the ability to interact with various staff levels including senior executive managers. • Collect, analyze, and document business requirements, business rules, processes, and legislation and generate functional and system requirements documentation required for system development. • Involved in planning and coordinate overall testing efforts to include test plan, creation, and execution of test scenarios for system integration testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Orchestra coordination and execution of Training Plan including development of training materials, quick reference guides, and standard operating procedures manuals. • Use specialized software for creation and management of system application docume   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
