Job Description Analyst: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Training, Analytical Skills,

Description:

The Client is seeking a Business Analyst contractor for an approximately 9 month engagement on the Departments 3C and Data Services project. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business rules and policies for SharePoint and other governance areas, assisting with the development of training programs and materials, and documenting workflow and process flows. This individual will be knowledgeable in using MSWord, Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio to create process flows and documentation. They will have a basic understanding of system development life cycles, Identity and Access Management solutions, and service oriented architectural concepts. The Business Analyst will work closely with the project team to assist with other analysis and documentation tasks as needed.

Role responsibilities:
• Complete project deliverables as assigned
• Analyze and document business rules and policies for SharePoint and other governance areas
• Participate in meetings and document the discussion, and follow up on action items.
• Assist with development of training programs and materials for business users and technical staff
• Provide writing, documentation services, and editorial support to the project team
• Analyze, define, and document workflow and process flow
• Coordinate with other projects related to SOA initiatives to ensure overall SOA compliance
• Document processes, procedures, create user guides, training guides for all new 3C components, including identity and access management

Required Skills:

* Strong communication skills, oral and written
* Ability to communicate clearly and easily with all levels of management, all areas of IT, and business users
* Demonstrated knowledge of SharePoint best practices from business perspective
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills
* Demonstrated experience using MS Word, Visio, Excel, and Powerpoint to create documentation
* Experience creating operations and support plans
* Experience with training and creating training materials

Desired Skills:

* Experience with implementing SharePoint 2013
* Experience with Access Management implementation
* Experience with enterprise service bus (Biztalk) and rules engine (InRule)
