Description : Assignment Description: PC Tech Refresh – the scope of this project is to replace client PCs that are 4 years old. Technician will be required to perform needs assessment, (hardware & software) using a Company developed system, and builds for client PCs. The Company is migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and experience in installation/build is of importance. In addition, the Technician may be assigned to a location in the Louisville area to provide basic hardware and software troubleshooting. The Technician will be required to work in and with the Companys ITSM system (Cherwell). Skill Set Requirements and Capabilities: Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot basic Windows 7 & 10 issues. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware issues. Ability to troubleshoot basic network issues. Basic knowledge of Ethernet topology, TCP/IP protocol, and Microsoft products. Must have excellent customer service skills, and able to follow standards and procedures. Attention to detail as well as follow up and completion of assigned tasks is required. Previous experience working with an ITSM. Special Requirements: Must have an insured and reliable vehicle. This position will require the individual to complete installs at various work sites within the Louisville area. Mileage will be reimbursed at IRS approved rate. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
