Required skills: • 5 years of experience in development, maintenance, and enhancement of Informatica Mappings, Work-flows, and processes • More than 4 years of demonstrated experience with the Informatica suite of products • Experience in data warehouse and data mart environments • Experience in developing and deploying Informatica in Unix and Oracle 11g database environment • Several years of experience building and implementing scalable, reliable, and high-performance ETL architectures • Ability to analyze and retrieve metadata from Informatica repository • Proficiency with RDBMS systems, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX Shell scripting, and database optimizations • Familiarity with database analysis, design • Demonstrated experience optimizing and troubleshooting poorly performing ETL mappings. • Strong communication skill to work with client, business users and team members • Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Responsibilities include - Has expertise in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies. - Prepares detailed specs from which programs will be written, then develop codes, tests, debugs, and documents those program plans. - Researches and evaluates solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective solutions for the system design. - Participates in overall systems testing and deployment activities. - Develops new documentation and participates in the design and development of department technical procedures and user guides. - Completes projects, including assignment of tasks for development, maintenance and support activities to maintain the platform. - Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan (BCP). - Participating in development team meetings and project team meetings as needed. - Provides feedback on estimates for development efforts in whole and remaining efforts to achieve project success. - May provide assistance or training to lower level staff. - Provide on-call support duties for Informatica Production Support, including off hours and weekends.
