currently seeks a Cisco Network Technical Architect to join our team in Troy, New York.

Resume Due Date: 4/11/2019
Note: Position is for part-time 20 hrs/wk - (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

Tasks include:
This position will be assigned to the Network Support Team of the Operations Unit responsible for network related technologies such as switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access, VoIP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, and QoS configurations.
The OAG has over 4,500 networked endpoints statewide.
Additional responsibilities include daily monitoring of network & equipment health, review of system alerts & logs, troubleshooting issue, recommendation for design improvements, and cross training of existing staff as required.

Mandatory Qualifications:
7+ years of experience as a technical expert centered around a technology, technologies or a portfolio of applications- Designing and implementing Information Technology solutions;
Candidate is able to provide leadership of large teams and/or extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
84 Months of experience working as a network architect designing data centers and migration of data centers.

Requested Qualifications:
36 Months of experience of Cisco Firewall technology management (design, monitor, support)
24 Months of experience with VPN technology management (design, monitor, support)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Certified Meraki Network Associate (CMNA)
12 Months of experience working with Public Sector on a data center migration project.

Must-Have Primary Skill:
5+ Years of expert level experience as a Systems Specialist-Hardware-Intel based Server, Chassis and Modular Support-Cisco (UCS) Intel based modular & converged servers.
12 Months of experience working with Public Sector on a data center migration project.
