Overseeing the work of linguists (deadline tracking and quality assurance) is critical for scaling key improvements to the voice recognition system. They will be encouraging collaboration through the use of existing tools and proposing novel solutions to issues raised by linguist contractors, ensuring efficient operation and project execution. A minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience ability to troubleshoot basic office softwares Bachelors degree or higher in Linguistics Proficient understanding of speech recognition, speech synthesis, and database management 2+ years with Bash Scripting and Git Technical proficiency in MacOS Plus: Experience tracking deadlines across multiple teams, including remote workers Experience handling equipment including laptops, monitors, and virtual conferencing technology D2D: With direction from technical partners, you will be responsible for tracking deadlines for projects being executed by various groups of linguists. You will be responsible for the full cycle of linguist contractor coordination, including on-boarding, training, task and schedule management, and equipment tracking. As the first line of contact for Linguists, you will be an expert in troubleshooting technical issues with internal tools like Git, Bash, and communication tools. You will track the tools proficiency of linguists, recommend new tools to improve the workflow, and find ways to automate existing tasks. Candidate must ensure open communication among partners, vendors, linguistic quality teams and fellow team members throughout the course of a project.
