Candidates MUST have proficient communication skills RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide IT services such as general systems administration and troubleshooting, capacity planning and load management, security assessments and threat resolution, monitoring and resolution of reliability and performance issues, user support, and infrastructure maintenance at the system level and for individual software components of our enterprise monitoring and management tools working directly with the Linux, database, storage, and networking team. - Plan, coordinate and perform RHEL administration, schedule maintenance and upgrades. - Preventative and proactive system monitoring functions and real-time responses encompassing: Systems Administration, OS Level SAN Administration, Backup and Restore and Security Remediation. - Deploy and manage a multi-tenant enterprise monitoring, management, and performance environment spread amongst multiple datacenters. - Meet with application and infrastructure teams to determine system monitoring requirements. - Identify, evaluate, and apply software/firmware patches to the various enterprise tools. - Design, write, test, implement, and maintain performance, monitoring, transaction, and automation scripts as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience with Red Hat and Oracle Linux (or other variants), including: performance tuning/optimization, scripting, packaging/deployment, and integration. - 2+ years relevant Linux Server systems analysis/support experience. - 2+ years experience installing, administering and supporting Red Hat Linux operating systems. - 2+ years shell scripting. - Experience with enterprise database systems (Oracle, SQL Server). - Experience with enterprise container and automation tools Docker, Puppet, Chef, HP Server Automation, HP Operations Orchestration. - Experience with enterprise monitoring, management, and notification tools including HP BSM, IBM Tivoli, BMC, or equivalent toolsets. - Experience with LDAP - Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, DNS - Domain Name System, DHCP - Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, and IIS - Internet Information Services. - BS degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent. - Strong verbal/written communication, leadership, project management, problem solving, customer service and interpersonal skills.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
